Go through my posts for the past year or however long I've been writing on BP because my posts cover subjects fairly extensively and many would work great for subjects at meeting.I've been to many REI, REIA and homegrown meetings and most are a pure waste of time because everyone talks about too many subjects.

Get an agreement in writing so that they don't try and jack up the price after a couple months.

Gosh, that's hard to write.

It also could be a family member that is lending you the money in that case just have an attorney write up the contract and you’ll be fine.Good Luck 

I had been into real-estate for awhile for the tax benefits but I'm realising as a Canadian, I can only write off what I've earned on the property plus like a 5000 allowance every year.

We are house hacking our mother-in-law apartment and I was curious about some potential tax write offs we could benefit from.

A lot of new investors won't even write up a contract, and will just use whatever the contractor or handy man gives them.

Did they prefer verbal contracts or have everything in writing?
