I am looking to network with some BP Meet Ups or REIA's that focus on networking and sharing of info and deals.

Would love to network with others, (whether newbie like me or pro), discover a mentor and maybe shadow someone on their day-to-day routine or even when landing a deal.

I've read stories of people going through heaven and hell to get the contract and pocket maybe upwards of $10K (which is a big profit in this space as I understand it) fully knowing that the investor they sold it to is going to make at least that and probably a multiple of (not that their job is any easier).For all of that work, and assuming it really is the great deal you are marketing to your investor network, I'm wondering why not see the deal all the way through the flip and maximize your upside and the effort you put in?

There is a networking meeting every Thursday at Big Daddy's at 183 and Burnet if you'd like to attend.

If you don't have a whole bunch of properties, you can manage yourself, at least until you network with other investors who can point you in the direction of a reputable PM.

Good ideas so far.I'll go to the old network and build relationships track though.Go to REIAs and other investor meetings as well as RE industry events and local business meetings to meet people.

Although usually not in the city itself because of the strict laws on rentals against landlords.My suggestion would be to get out, network, IN PERSON with people and leverage what you have.
