I grew up in the area and though I don't live there anymore, know its a great rental market and want to expand.I have taken the time to go through the tax records on the streets I know I want to buy and identify all of the absentee owners of multi-families (2-4 units).

You do not need to have them come to your home but you should identify yourself as the owner landlord when you do the screening.
