Lots of snakes in these fields like any other industry but I hear a lot of heartbreaking stories of what people will do for the love US Treasury green. 

We just enjoy giving soldiers a good temporary place to live that is off base :) We have had some potential homes in Ft.Hood (Killeen and Copperas cove area) but the property taxes in Texas are just killer.

I have 20k to start myself and have several coworkers in my field (law enforcement) also looking to invest to get ahead. 

Better to build your own equity through the debt pay down, enjoy the tax benefits of ownership, and garner the equity of an appreciating asset.

But more importantly I found out how much I enjoy the process of renovation and managing the “project”.

This is all based on lot size, soil type, perk rate, number of dwellings, number of bedrooms, lot loading calcs and boundary lines in relation to the drain field and tanks.

I'm looking for someone with experience in Multifamily, I'm a newbie in this field looking to learn with someone in the area.
