I am new to real estate, but from pure business point of view: option 1 gives you a bit better %, but you giving up more cash that you might use for next deal.

Since the crash of ’07, many people view investing in the housing market as a dangerous game that could very well burst again.

@Kelly Maybe this is a totally stupid thought, but couldn't you just call a few people that viewed the house & ask why they didn't submit an application?

@Linda WeygantMakes perfect sense when all I would really be doing would be causing problems where there isn't one anymore.They did renovate, repair, and replace everything and there isn't much more they can do about it.Just viewed it from my perspective if I lived there.

There is a website that has such info: cityview (dot) baltimorecity (dot )gov They have a plethora of information on the city, however its best to come view the developing areas yourself as some projects on the site have yet to take off. 

It probably does not netter but does the new one have the viewing and any amenities that were enjoyed.
