People skills takes having that inner desire to actually want to help people, and unfortunately, many people don't have that set of skills.

My wife and I have house hacked a duplex the last 10 years and have 'excellent' project/vendor management skills but don't know much about construction.

If you wanted to focus on high end luxury listings, you wouldn't get much benefit from working with a broker that is known for their D class property management skills.  

Now here's a 7-unit multi-family that I found online and decided to test out my analysis skills.

I find that I need to remind myself I’m blessed to have all these assets and skills etc.. but that’s hard to do at times when it seems like everything goes wrong at once and your banging your head on the wall out of frustration . 

I truly believe what was said in the webinar "Analyzing deals is a property investor's number 1 skill".For the "Connect" portion I'm doing it right now.

Agents are skilled at owner occupant comps and the RE bureaucracy (which is no small thing). 

Time to find partners with good skills!

You need a skilled real estate lawyer to oversea the transactions and completed in a manner that is done right for that county.
