Well, here goes:

I've been in the REI game since back when I was a kid. But this past couple weeks I learned that REI isn't just an outdoors store ;)

So I've been doing a bit of research, reading, watching and listening and the last webinar was great so I signed up for BPPro. The webinar really put things in perspective for me so I created a daily plan for myself that I like to call the "CAL Plan"

Connect

Analyze

Learn

I've downloaded "Long Distance Real Estate Investing" to my phone with audible and am planning to use that as my "learning" portion of my daily plan since I'm living in China at the moment. I also love the thought of setting up teams around the country and, maybe eventually, the world!

For the "Analyze" portion of my plan I'm going to be using the BRRRR (Was that enough R's?) and rental calculator on BP. I find the calculators are GREAT because they are kind of a barometer of how my education in REI is shaping up; cause if I can't fill something out when going through the calculator then I know EXACTLY what my next step is. I truly believe what was said in the webinar "Analyzing deals is a property investor's number 1 skill".

For the "Connect" portion I'm doing it right now. But this will also entail contacting real estate agents, lenders, property managers, and contractors ala David Greene.

My current situation is that I live in China, have a ton of free time, am paying off my credit card debts, investing a little in Dividends/ETFs and am just starting to get into property investing.

Things to do:

1. Define my High Five

2. Build my LAPS

I plan to document my journey through daily vlogs to keep myself accountable.

Here's a video I made right after the webinar if you want a kind of "stream of consciousness" on what I learned and my thoughts on my current situation:

Quick question. I heard mention of a custom signature doohickey for Pro members? How do I get in on that?
