I'm sure the lender was saying what an idiot and patting himself on the back.I did get involved with a reverse mortgage not to long ago being held by a insurance company that only seemed too glad to get paid off and clear their problem with a little paperwork and thus was able to put my nephew into a nice probate property where they wanted to live at a decent price back in my main state of California (wish I could go back but the UCSF Medical Center keeps trying to kill me off, I think they have a deal with the local mortuaries).

We now have a parcel in escrow for a medical office project (not sure if we're going to do it or not ... financing or finding partners for a spec commercial building isn't easy!
