Hey friends,There is a county owned tax foreclosure that I was chasing for investment but have now decided it could be my dream home and property.

Sweetwater County?

I’m located in Rutherford County on a 1 acre lot In a subdivison and I assume I can get a permit for either project.

In most areas of cook county sellers pay transfer taxes to the state, county and in many cases the local municipality.

Hope the city / county won’t you wait too long to get started . 

@Carolyn Morales We don’t have that situation in Palm Beach county, but I know in Broward county that their county ordinances are such that a code violation on one property becomes a lien on All other properties owned under that same name/entity.  

I live In Orange County, Ca and I’m thinking about looking into markets outside of CA but wanted to know if there was anyone who’s in California who’s going through similar market struggles.

It varies by county but will be with the county assessor not the state.
