Hello Bigger Pockets! I am new to the real estate game and this community, and frankly, about 3 months late with this post.

I have always been interested in real estate, but never truly understood it or knew where to begin. Then I was told about Bigger Pockets. I started listening in Apirl 2018 and have listen to over 250 episodes so far.

A little about my self: My name is Colton Seaver and I am from South Carolina. I am 22 years old and have a wife, 2 daughters, and a baby on the way! Currently I am a Traveling Pipe welder and do very well for my family and I. My job can be enjoyable but, I am the sole income provider and most of these jobs recurire many hours pre week. I intent to start real estate investing with my older brother, Nick Seaver, who is currently serving as an active duty military member.

While we are still developing our business model, we intend to focus on buy and hold properties in the South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida markets. We will target C to B multifamily apartments, while utilizing the BRRRR strategy to build equity.

Nick and I are hoping to build a sustainable business by partnering with motivated and like minded realtors, property management, and contractors. Our mentality is: Honest, hard work, and teamwork will grow wealth for all those involved. This is a win in our book, and we will run our numbers and analyze deals keeping that in mind.

While our business goals and 5 year plan is lofty, it is also obtainable. We would gladly discuss this in more detail for those interested. Ultimately, my goal is to create 'passive' income so that I can quit my current job and just do real estate full time. This will allow me to spend more time raising my beautiful children. Nick is looking to do the same, but his passion is world travel.

In order to prepare for our joint venture I am doing a live-in-flip in Rhode Island were my current job is. We will be utilizing the 203k loan on a single family home. Nick on the other hand, is searching for a deal in Albuquerque with a business partner/private money lender. Once these flips are complete and we have some more liquid capital, our true journey begins.

So thats the first chapter in my real estate story. I just wanted to introduce my self and say thank you for all of the great information you have provided. This has been the launch pad for my life in real estate and my family's financial freedom.
