The contractors I've hired have not been reliable.

I’ve had a couple of clients in both Austin and Scottsdale who’ve looked into similar options, and the truth is, it’s one of those niche areas where the institution you choose can make a big difference.

My question is what is the suggested approach for renting a unit out of the home and living in the other?

TL;DR* Aggressively pushing 'maintenance' and for the most part for things not requiring any maintenance* In-house maintenance rates are eye-watering, way higher than what you'd see in even most expensive markets* Maintenance does not require owner's approval - RL reserves decision what to do when, cheaper plans have higher limits and all are at RL's discretion * Refuses to manage in many parts of townLonger versionSigned up for their service after a few conversations over the phone - owner stressed investor-friendly approach.

I am currently reading ‘The book on investing in real estate with no (and low) money down by Brandon Turner, hence why I recently joined the blog. 

On the other hand I can't find a thing about Traceestate.com, i cant only find the website.

So now, VRBO has "restricted" all of the properties that we cancelled reservations for, in order to punish us.
