Aspiring Real Estate Investor
Hi everyone,
My name is Ray Scirrotto, I am a 28 year old aspiring real estate investor hoping to land my first investment property soon.
I am currently reading ‘The book on investing in real estate with no (and low) money down by Brandon Turner, hence why I recently joined the blog.
Anyway, any advice or worlds of encouragement you could shoot my way would be great, as invetsors have always told me “the first one is the hardest”
I look forward to connecting with you all and look forward to learning and growing in this business !
Thank you!

I wouldn't start with that book. It's a good book, but it's one that can make investors think that investing with no or low money down is easy. It's definitely not. I would read Set for Life by @Scott Trench or Start with Strategy by @Dave Meyer first. Those are more realistic table setters for you to begin your journey if you couple that with podcasts and in-person meetups so you can learn from real investors and their journeys.
To invest, you will always need to be earning more money so you don't want to start your journey thinking you can do it with no money. Most creative finance deals are actually done by people who don't need to do it that way because they have the leverage to make offers of all types.
