The reason this rule exists is because without it, people would create fake companies without any intent of actually running a business and they would expense everything through that business and reap that tax benefits.So now you actually have to be in business in order to receive business deductions.

The next step will of course to to find out the actual Market Value of the asset if my initial rudimentary analysis is promising and to dig into more valid information such as confirming estimated taxes, class of neighborhood (A,B,C,) and etc.
