I am an engineer with a full time job, but plan on continuing to purchase rent ready properties to slowly build wealth.

And I try to be supportive of anyone that's attempting to build a portfolio.

With one million dollars and picking up the houses while distressed and refinancing you can build an extensive STR portfolio. 

My strategy has been buying a primary every year, and since 2017, it's helped me build a pretty great portfolio with the minimum down every year.

Again, that's my opinion, but then layer in the fact that builders are building at a pace that is far less than necessary to keep up with new families and homes.

After doing a lot of research, I'm getting close to sign a contract for a new build (4bd/3ba) in the Creek Meadow area.

BUT they go into what they're currently working on, what/who they're seeking at this event, and I get a good sense of where they're at along their journey.One of the best books I read on the subject of effective networking/relationship building was Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazi.
