It's 100% normal for an REI friendly lender to be able to say "yes" when a more traditional lender says "no."

I have a friend moving to the Joliet, IL area from San Diego who is looking for a home to rent, and I need recommendations on a good Real Estate agent to help him find a rental.

So he is happy with the numbers and location, but his concern was timing to get an inspection, environmental report and an appraisal quick enough to get the loan sorted out.

@Teri S.A friend of mine bought it at auction for $7500 and gutted the whole thing jacked it up and leveled it out and put a whole new floor system in the downstairs and upstairs.

I have friends all over the country complaining about 100+ degree heat indexes this time of the year and they deal with the specific unpleasantness of humidity on top of 90+ degree days.

A good friend of mine will buy up entire streets and make the neighborhood just the way he wants.
