As I mentioned above, financing in Mexico for foreigners is much more complicated than in the US and you have to be careful because some mortgage products are purposefully packaged in a way that they look very cheap to the unsuspecting buyer when in reality they're extremely expensive.  

@Samuel Medina what you have to do is run the full numbers under both scenarios and see which one will product the most cash flow and ROI.

Jon,I think your hesitation to begin the eviction process is warranted and may not produce a quicker/cheaper result.Sometimes it’s best to pave the way for a bad situation to get better.

There are some local lenders with great products for what you are trying to do.

This iso board is several inches thick (styrofoam type product which is covered on both sides with a fiberglass type material).

There are still good finds there that will produce a good income stream for you.
