Investors tend to have a bad reputation in the contractor community.Once you build a track record with contractors and develop a mutual trust things should be better.As to weather this guy is legit or not is hard to tell.

The track record, credibility, and the reputation of the sponsor is more important than the deal.Everyone has a deal.

I am have the opportunity to transfer to Brooklyn College, and although not as reputable as McGill, I got accepted into their business and real estate school, where I would be learning a lot about things that actually interest me.

I need some advice and referrals for landing company (that can assist me with buying land, building home and turning this after into mortgage) as well as reputable contractor who can provide detailed schedule.

We were taught that our reputation and character were everything.

Every company is different and many busy, reputable contractors want to be paid for their time (and deservedly so) as time is money.

Finally, if there are reputable wholesalers in your area, they're likely a better lead source than an agent would be.
