Hey @Mindy Jensen, it appears someone is advertising on our platform is engaging in what is traditionally regarded as a red flag for scamming (HML promising unusually good terms/conditions, asking for a fee upfront).

I'm looking at ways to invest in real estate on the cheap, likely reits, or A platform like realtymogul, Alternative investing like lendingclub, etc. 

Do you recommend forming an LLC through an attorney versus using one of the many online legal platforms?

I use a simple excel sheet for accounting as I only manage my 5 units, but being able to syndicate my listings all over the web, integrate an online application with legit screening reports and collect rent all through one platform makes my life pretty simple.

Perhaps not the property and financing you would've chosen had you picked it as a rental from day 1, but not so horrible that you have a burning platform under your feet ... selling RE is expensive, and I don't think this one sounds bad enough to justify the transaction costs and hassle.
