Square readers are sold in Lowe's stores at the counter down here in SA, so in my opinion there's no reason for a squared away (pardon the pun, I swear it was accidental) contractor to have to make you chase them across town to deliver a check.

And while you can build a rental portfolio without a lot of cash or credit through creative financing - seller financing or subject to - most people with out a lot of cash or credit want to wholesale.Now if you want to wholesale, you could accidentally do it right the first time, but you could also do a lot of things wrong and make a lot of people mad at you.

Until he proved me wrong, I'd go into this expecting a sales pitch of one sort or another.Not saying I wouldn't meet him, but I'd be prepared to politely cut the meeting short if it turned out to be a full-press sales pitch.
