The class was an excellent way to prepare as it was in person and not online and I had a knowledgeable and charismatic instructor.

Do I do it online?

--identify and choose online rent payment system--verify mailing address--determine how to turn one mailing address into 2 apartment addresses through USPS--develop packet for new tenants with utility phone numbers, my contact info, etc.These are a few off the top of my head, and certainly not inclusive.  

Open to your thoughts and guidance and to interact online and in person!  

Hi everyone, A few months ago I took an online course on Udemy about real estate investing.

You can search online, look at newspapers or whatever source you need to find out that info..

I have knocked on doors(a summer gig), sold cars(successfully |salesman of the month out of 40 twice in 12months| & consistently just wasn't around enough winners to want to keep at it), worked in construction (I am currently helping renovate a home in Yakima, Washington), coached high school football, cleaned carpets (straight commission) and recently started a business online and learned several programming languages (HTML - CSS - JavaScript - Ruby - and bit of Python and backend database SQL stuff) and can design a fully responsive website from scratch.

Some found online and others through craigslist.

I have seen many online ads for mortgage lenders with seemingly better interest rates than I have found while inquiring around at local banks and credit unions.  

A good deal ought to give you some cash flow, and cover all your expenses for the property.In tandem with that, I'd go after as much education as possible online.
