. $5K minimum and you can get some traction, but I bet you could go a month or more without any solid deals only spending $3K if your negotiation skills aren't up to par and you are not running a very targeted campaign. $3K is really more a of hobby level budget.

You could probably boot-strap a marketing campaign and do a test batch of about ~100-200 mailings to test the market.
