We know nothing of your neighborhood... is it an A class neighborhood where formica cabinets would be a faux-pas, or is it a C class neighborhood where "who the heck cares what the cabinets are made of... if it has 2 bedrooms and a working AC you are good to go!"

It can be a home office, but they require a lock on the door, password on computer, paper shredder, and locking file cabinet.

You can do that in any of the major accounting software platforms.....Seems like a lot of unnecessary work to have a separate account for each property....... you are using the bank accounts like files sitting in a cabinet......I can see an account to keep security deposits separate....and maybe one for your cash reserves.....but one for each property seems dumb to me....it is 2018 now....... but whatever works for you......

I installed (myself) HD unfinished cabinets. 

People complained of running out of TP.Now I leave 2-3 rolls in the cabinet in addition to one on the roll. 

When we moved in we noticed it had not been cleaned hardly at all - kitchen cabinets had well established spider webs with several dead roaches in them, floors turn your feet black from how dirty they are, etc.

I have also thought about redoing the kitchen cabinets, trying to fit in a dishwasher, etc.
