Roach Infested apartment HELP

Posted

My wife, my 1 year old and I recently moved down to Orlando, FL and our apartment seemed pretty nice! However, after living there for a few days we quickly realized it is infested with cockroaches. When we moved in we noticed it had not been cleaned hardly at all - kitchen cabinets had well established spider webs with several dead roaches in them, floors turn your feet black from how dirty they are, etc. And this was upsetting because they had moved our move in date from Monday to Tuesday to then Thursday because they supposedly had to get cleaners in there?

We made a maintenance request for pest control and were told on Friday they'd be there Wednesday.

Over the weekend we had killed over 100 roaches. We can't cook in our home because roaches would be on our food after leaving it for 5 minutes so we've been eating out which costs a lot more money. Then today (Monday) we called to express how bad it was so they sent maintenance over to use a fogger on the place.

This is when dozens of more roaches started coming out of the walls. We had to vacate the apartment because there's just too many.

We are now in a hotel wondering what we should do. I took several pictures of all the roaches I saw, to cover my bases I guess.

Any advice?
