I'm listening to a webinar from Phil Grove with a houston meetup that I couldn't attend tonight.

Does anyone attend any good real estate investor clubs in the area? 

I was introduced to Bigger Pockets through a real estate investment club I attend, Orange County Investment Club (FIBI).On a professional level, I’ve been involved in the construction industry for about 8 years now.

. - Attend local REIA meetings and network with successful investors.

Locate and attend 3 different meetings.

@Kristin Whitfield If Commercial property is going to be your focus, consider attending a CCIM event or other Commercial Real Estate Trade or professional organizations in your area and introduce yourself to various commercial brokers and lenders.

I have attended my first REIA class a couple weeks ago, which was all directed towards wholesaling, had a great time and look forward to attending more.Anyways, just a quick hello - thanks to the BP community and the BP podcasts as they have already helped me establish a path forward.Cheers!

Anyways, I'm basically here because after flirting with the possibility of getting into the real estate business, and making the mistake of attending ridiculously expensive guru courses, I STILL want to get into the business.To make a long story short, I grew up in blue collar suburbs just north of Philadelphia.
