I am new to this app and RE in general.

My savings are limited but I would like to purchase a multi family unit to rent out.I have no plans to stop teaching to pursue this full time and wanted to know what resources or areas of this app people may recommend for someone in this situation (looking to invest part time)?

This was the 1st deal I bought from driving with the DealMachine app (I made this app btw).

@Alan Pederson I haven’t done this yet, so take it with a grain of salt...I researched the R-values of new windows vs. old windows.... single pane=.9-1.5 or something vs double pane R value=3.5....sounds great right...Well R value of normal blinds is practically nothing, whereas R-value of high end cell shade blinds can be as high as 5...blinds can as high as 150$ w/installation depending on the window and style obviously...I figure you can just put high end cell shades on all the windows and you’d be better off and out the door for cheaper than new windows...and it’s faster, looks better, and can be purchased in a neutral off white that acts as black out shades....

I am new to this app and not sure if I should just connect with those who respond to my posts or something else.

With Buildium tenants have 2 options, pay online via the buildium app/portal vi EFT or use Paynearme vouchers where the tenant goes to a local CVS/7-11 and presents their voucher for payment with an additional $3.99 fee for the tenant (encourages online payments). 

There is also a new app, created by a fellow BP member, that is helping to connrct landlords with lower cost, vetted PM.

However, I can’t find this calculator feature on the app...

Consider getting some kind of app or security for the property that alerts you when someone arrives.

Also, check out a website called getapp, they allow you to search for apps that provide some features you may be looking for.Best,Mike
