I used to work for a big builder in the Bay Area, always loved watching projects progress.

Would love to see progress pics when you get further along.

I'm new to reno/finance/real estate, so my progress isn't as fast as most folks here. 

Somewhat concerned about the vacancies, but the location is close to major universities and I believe that progress with vaccine distribution would lure students back on campus.I also have a call scheduled with an FHA-recommended lender (Padio) for early next Monday; it is to figure out how much I could be pre-approved for.Worst case, I could try wholesaling the house if the numbers do not seem feasible for a house-hack, right?

Our buyer ended up having a surprise rehab expense on another in-progress flip two hours away. 

And while you're doing this, start a YouTube channel to share your story and your progress on your journey (I started one a couple years ago myself, and it has been a great learning experience in and of itself).
