I am finally looking to building my portfolio, BP has given me much inspiration to strive into the next stage of the game!

Hello, my name is colstan horton and I am a very enthusiastic inspiring real estate investor.

In our area, I've seen (and lived under) a local large property management company that has inspired me.

As time went on, I discovered several things were needed in order to keep me motivated, inspired, and focused in order for me to be successful ongoing.

My personal favorites are podcasts while I drive my long commute to and from work everyday(only about 10-15 or so left out of 225), reading the classics like Rich Dad Poor Dad, Millionaire Real Estate Investor, Richest Man in Babylon etc, and reading most of the trending posts on here especially success stories for inspiration.

You are all so generous with information and I take inspiration from your bravery , intelligence and proactive mentality.I am a first time investor,  (I did have a rental that was our first home that we turned into rental when we moved, but ultimately it was a disaster experience, more on that another time), looking to invest in 2 properties in a landlord friendly state.

My inspirations have come from BP's own David Greene ("Long-Distance Real Estate Investing: How to Buy, Rehab, and Manage Out-Of-State Rental Properties", and BP Podcast Episode #257: "But My Market is Too Expensive!" 

Totally inspiring, especially when you get into a bit of a rut.
