Hi Everyone!

I started listening to BP some time last year and have learnt sooooo much from it. And after hearing Josh and Brandon talk about it all the time, finally decided to get onto this forum! So thanks once again for setting this up and I am really thankful for the many lessons I have gleaned from the podcast.

Quick introduction, I grew up in Singapore, now living in New Zealand, actively listening to a bunch of people talk about investing in America. The thing is, real estate investment principles are pretty much "global". Yes, some of the tricks and rules don't apply simply because the tax laws etc are different. But I believe the core principles are pretty much universal. Career wise, I've only had a full time job for about 4-5 years since graduating, read Rich Dad Poor Dad at a young age and got bitten by the entrepreneur bug. I've never looked back since and its just been a journey of investing in both real estate and the stock market since the late 90s. My preferred style of investing in the stock market has always been dividend growth with a value slant and I believe that has many similarities with real estate.

I made the mistake of selling all my real estate investments a few years ago and now am trying to rebuild my portfolio.

Right now, I am just looking forward to connecting with people on this forum and just talk property!
