"Mixed use" lot to which I use part of the land for my business.

I'd consider it a mix of tech and business (too much business for Comp Sci folks and too much programming for MBAs).

Mixed use loans at 75% of purchase price are available, at start rates as low as 7.49%, 3 year fixed, 27-year ARM for a total of 30-year term.

As far as insurance, the only time it was an issue (and didn't create one as the dog was very well trained when we actually met him, so we didn't push it) was when my property manager signed a 2-year lease with a couple that owned a rottweiler as they put mixed breed on the application and the manager never met the dog.  

My background is a mix of finance / legal / entrepreneurship, which I'm hoping proves useful as I start building out a real estate portfolio.  

At this point, mine are a mix of MLS, partners, fsbo/word of mouth, and wholesalers in that order.  

However, trying to find similar sales of a 24-unit apartment building with a jumbled mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units in a low-income area proves to be too difficult.

Personally I don't like to mix business with pleasure.
