Hey folks - just joined the site a couple of weeks ago and I am really impressed with the community that people like @Joshua Dorkin, Brandon Turner, and everyone else (i.e., you!) have created.

My background is a mix of finance / legal / entrepreneurship, which I'm hoping proves useful as I start building out a real estate portfolio.  I've done my share of quant analysis and drafting / reviewing legal documents in previous roles as an investment banker and an attorney, and now work with high-net-worth folks for the Private Bank of a major national financial institution. I do a significant number of residential mortgages in the $3mm+ range for HNW folks, so I'm also very familiar with the mortgage process as well, and "super jumbo" mortgages in particular.

Looking forward to spending more time on the site and getting to know some of you, and perhaps ultimately collaborating with some folks here as well.
