-RP YUP  I live on U tube looking at recipes  I do all the cooking  at least all the dinners.. taking what I learn on U tube and trying to cook it up ! 

They'll buy used vehicles instead of new ones, cook at home, etc., etc.The 2% who were a problem for me were gone by the time the crash happened - they were inherited tenants who I ended up getting rid of because they actually prioritized tattoos and vacations over paying their rent. 

By removing the "cooking area" it was no longer a "dwelling unit". 

They also have a lot more drunks and pot smokers, domestic issues, drug use, etc.

What are you adding to the pot with two investors if you have $500 liquid and a lot of debt and a family of three to take care of.

Annual maintenance of washing the solar panels too.At our neighborhood pot luck bitching about solar and PGE was a favorite topic.

If you're local, go buy 20 1-gal waters so they have it for drinking and cooking. 

The liquidity problem can be mitigated if blessed enough to have both the pot and the window. . 

That way you can unload groceries and put everything in the fridge or pantry while the bags are on the counter by the stove.If you don't want to move the electrical for the stove, put the pantry and fridge on the other side and keep the stove where it is, adding some storage and counter space....always good to have a place for pots and pans and a cooking surface by the stove.

For instance, towns that are mainly Republican cowboy types, or only have one real employer and whether or not it's likely for that employer to stay the duration, or can you handle renting to pot heads in the pot growing areas and deal with potentially really high water bills - you just really need to know and understand the affordable areas and the culture and job market or if it's realistic to expect to rent long-term to retirees, what's the healthcare situation, etc., etc., etc.Now, if you do your homework, and spend hours and hours of time researching and traveling there to get a feel and understand them, and you have the ability to really converse with people who may not be the class you're used to, etc., or maybe they don't speak English very well or at all - then you can probably find that you can make a profit.But, anyone who goes into this business expecting to get rich quick without having to do any work is probably going to fail anyway.
