I need some advice and referrals for landing company (that can assist me with buying land, building home and turning this after into mortgage) as well as reputable contractor who can provide detailed schedule.

We were taught that our reputation and character were everything.

Every company is different and many busy, reputable contractors want to be paid for their time (and deservedly so) as time is money.

Hello everyone, this is my first post, here goes nothing.My wife and I are currently residents, and will be training for the foreseeable next few years (so…not making that much $).Our long term goal is to be generally hands off, and to buy and hold SFHs indefinitely for cash flow and equity (so, ideally reputable turnkey companies Any recommendations on reading/education material to get more familiarized with topics concerning real estate investment and management.

Finally, if there are reputable wholesalers in your area, they're likely a better lead source than an agent would be. 

Hey @Jason Harty - congratulations on the long history and reputation that you've built for yourself, that's awesome and not everyone can say that! 

We do self manage so if you are looking at PMs make sure they have an awesome reputation or it may sink you.  

Sure he isn't your main contractor but they are hard to come by and word of mouth spreads, you don't want a bad reputation. 

Having a construction business comes with way more costs and liabilities, however, it’s easier to stand out if you do a great job and develop a good reputation.
