If not at least 25 years old I would get parents to cosign unless they pay up front, which I guess the would using Vrbo or Airbnb.

When you do get to buying a house consider a duplex “house hack” with FHA loan, or perhaps you could figure that in college with a parent co-signing the loan and you can rent out rooms to buddies.
