The permit process in the Hampton's can take up to two years and therefore I plan to do a very basic bathroom renovation and some cheap laminate flooring which will enable me to rent the property until it is time to start construction. The bathroom is 6' x 5' and I will rip out the existing fixtures, replace the tub with a standing shower, and re-tile.
