For instance: the restaurant industry workers can not afford to live in orange beach.

They also further prevented short term rental owners from cutting their losses and expanded their definition of short term rentals to include anything under 6 months (previously is was 30 days).STRs were ordered shut down and are prohibited from renting to locals, staycations, essential employees, health care workers, and intra island renters.

We sent out a letter proactively letting all our tenants know that if they needed any essentials or were going through tough times to contact us and we will help figure it out.

I have 3 homes in Davenport FL that are short term rentals, one of them is rented to someone that we believed to be an essential worker, but apparently they are not.

The tough part is that, it is her homes equity that we are tapping into and my name that we're putting the heloc under.
