Holding agent's license in Colorado, Oregon and Ohio

I want to get my Colorado real estate agent's license because Colorado has reciprocity with all 50 states. If I go through the process with Colorado, have an agency hold my license there, pass the test..would I be able to immediately look into getting a license with another state and NOT work in Colorado at all? (I live in Ohio and Oregon part time which is where I want to work as a realtor. Hence why I am thinking it would make sense for me to be able to have reciprocity with all 50 states.) Thoughts? Thank you everyone!

You still need to take the state portion of the exam and classes. You would also have to pay all of the fees for each state. Not sure if it is worth it unless you are practicing in each state. Additionally, it might make more sense to refer the business to someone local. I practice in Columbus. If a client wants to by in Cincinnati or Cleveland, I refer the business out and take a referral. The local agent will do better by them.
