Or even X amount of electricity being included.But if a potential landlord start talking to me about there being solar panels on the house and I'd be getting a bill from the electric company and also from them...blah, blah, blah...oh, but I'd be saving 10-20% (supposedly, side-eye) total on my electric bill...I would find it hinky and complicated.

I think the rents are low, and utilities could also be metered out, but I’m not sure what the market will bear in the poorest county in Maine (it is the county seat, with some visitor attraction—lakes, whoopie pie festival), and supposedly there is a demand for better rental units, self-storage and store fronts, but there is a lot of vacant, run-down property here as well.

And I suppose I was not considering how appreciation would be different than normal in Boulder, where it is constantly appreciating faster than many other cities.

Then as I tried to get things right the blame game starts around who was supposed to do what etc.
