I think its normal for them to do a thorough but not deep inspection, and recommend where I need further help. 

The inspection is also limited to what can be reasonably accessed and they generally always advise you seek a plumber for any thorough/scoping services.  

It is really important that you use a thorough contract that includes the scope of work as an attachment.

Recommend getting thoroughly educated as well, just like the stock market, if an inevstor has little money and less experience it typically does not end well

Also, the more services you offer the harder it is to track everything.The MOST important thing though is to learn ANY software properly & thoroughly or it will just be "junk"!
