I intend to seek referrals at local investment community meetings, as well as my own network, but I want to make sure I find an agent who plays this particular game - rehabs, foreclosures, auctions, etc. 

Through extensive reading, planning, strategizing, and expanding our network, we've laid a foundation for our venture.

for new investors, i think they really need to ( 1 ) get into a strong financial position, and ( 2 ) put some time into building a network and gaining market knowledge.

I am also starting to feel as I have enough basic knowledge to attend in person REIA meetings and classes and try to network which I know is a great step as currently I am just attending 1/2 online webinars a week and listening to the BP podcast. 

Accountants are in such demand, that the best are not even accepting clients half the time.The other problem I see often with accountants on here is that they specialize in larger investors, and have really high prices when you as a smaller investor do not need all the bells and whistles.Another thing I see is folks thinking they need to have a tax professional in their state.

I'm a licensed real estate agent in NC and SC, and own a portfolio of investments in the Carolinas, looking to connect and network with like minded individuals.
