I came across something worth sharing - using a Johnson Box to get your quick message across to the recipients of your direct mail campaign (letters, postcads...etc)A Johnson Box is a box usually at top that contains the key message you're getting across - it could be a "We buy houses, Call us" or "Call me to get added to our buyers list"...etcThe key concept is that messages stick out and grab the readers' attention when placed in a box, a bigger font, a different color.

hey everyone , my name is Joy , i am a new Real Estate Investor in Los Angeles , California . i am here to learn and network . i have teamed up with my girlfriend who is a real estate agent at Keller Williams in downt town los angeles and with my friend casey who is in finance. i currently work full time as a project manager for the environmental side of oil and gas . we are planning to wholesale houses and have kicked off a marketing campaign. my heart is in flipping houses and i feel that i will be able to choose the best deals through the wholesaling side . my grandmother flipped homes for about 15 years , i lived with her and was able to live that experience as well as learn construction.  

Consider doing a mail campaign to find off-market leads as @Doug W. is suggesting. 

Or I might use the cash and launch a few wholesale campaigns but I would only recommend this if you are already well versed in wholesaling other wise your better off buying scratch-offs.  

Hello,I'm trying to figure out how I should go about managing several different direct mail campaigns to NOO, preforeclosures, and expired listings.

I have been working on getting the code compliance list from San Antonio to start a mailing campaign.

Based on one of the podcasts with Michael Quarles, I fired off my first direct marketing campaign and have begun fielding calls.  

I met my partner who shared the same passion for real estate investing and he was a coworker at the sales job at the time so we took the leap by investing in a direct mail campaign with @Jerry Puckett .  

@Bruce Runn and @Oscar BrooksThank you for helping with this scenario, it sounds like right now more savings and education would be beneficial before starting any sort of house hunting campaign.
