These secondary workers work at service related businesses that support the higher paid workers, for example:-- Food service workers-- Retail workers-- Bank workers-- Health care workers (including physicians and dentists as the Health Insurance for all of the laid off workers is now gone)==================For each higher paying job lost it is said 2 to 3 secondary jobs will also go (laid off). 

You have someone going to stay in close proximity to an aging relative with temporary health issues because they can WFH while doing so.

Replacing batteries on your system, and whatever other maintenance the system may require - extra expense.I would consider hold time as well… is it worth the up front cost if you decide to sell the property in 5 years or the next up market turn?  

And of course the government knew what was going on and turned a blind eye in the interest of keeping the US health system going.

Well a major problem here in the US is the sense of entitlement...entitled to own a affordable house where you want it to be, entitled to be paid a "living wage", entitled to have college debt cancelled, entitled to free food, entitled to free health care - the list goes on The free-market is the best system the world has ever seen.

First I would check with zoning and the Dept of Health to see if the property is allowed to be such and if you need a license for doing so.

I met them and now I see they're very concerned but their age and health are indeed making it very difficult to have any control of the situation and they're being taken advantage of enormously.  

I'm thinking about regular maintenance (smoke detector batteries, furnace filters, etc.) as well as the urgent calls that could happen.
