So anyone ever just sit on the sidelines a catch their breath a year??

So technically, I do not have to buy another house in order to pay my bills. As with most things people their desire to have a higher income increases even if they do not really have to have it. The past two years, my wife and I have made a lot of traction,  but I’m tired. We have been working on our portfolio for years. It’s not much fun anymore. I don’t know if I need to switch asset class , take some serious time off, or both.

You're definitely due for a break, Joe.  The law of diminishing returns and joy certainly comes into play.
Personally, we hung our cleats up and are 90% out and not looking.  We grabbed a chair and popcorn.
Be clear on what content looks like.   Nothing wrong with getting off the wheel a while.
