Personally, I'm one of those who frequently advertises in the 'housing wanted' section, because I've moved around between different cities and am not interested in buying in the area (much cheaper to rent in the SF bay area).I'm someone property managers don't even want to look at: I'm self-employed, have a big dog, don't have perfect credit.
