One of my other tenant's daughter was my dog walker until she graduated high school.

The property management company wanted to return back to the tenant half of their security deposit (which was 1K and they wanted to return $500) and I had to tell them it was not fair, I need to keep the full security deposit so we settled on me getting the $800 and the tenant getting 200$)The second property, when the tenants moved out there was dog poop on the carpet and obviously bad smell, and some ripped carpet in a couple of places.

Basically, the entire industry is making a push to move from HML to a more socially acceptable taxonomy of private lenders, though that is a stretch since most of the "big dogs" are somehow tied to Wall St/institutional capital and have somewhat high doc underwriting by comparison to local hard money or truly individual private capital.

They have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

I believe that one tenant may have a dog, which is a violation of the lease.

But being retired, it will give me something to do beside walking my dogs several times per day

I don't allow dogs in the lease but I also don't think a small dog for a week is a big problem.

I have a tenet in my 4 unit building in Chicago who wants to bring in her daughter and dog for a week.
