I find that in any interaction with bankers, it helps me to visualize them as a robot that speaks a different language than me--numbers.

These are usually folks who want a more "hands on" interaction with me and the asset from selection thru disposition.

This person would make me money by gaining appointments because face to face interaction is where I excel.

Once you understand the pieces then work on how they interact w/ each other.

I suggest you develop a fairly detailed scope of responsibilities for that PM, including how often you expect him to be there and exactly what kind of interactions, inspections, reporting and other activities & responsibilities you expect of him.
