Looking for advice on selling my home and buying a multiunit.

I am thinking about moving into a new home in the Bay Area and just got pre-approved for up to $800k conventional financing not FHA due to me owning rentals.

If its on the same parcel still as the main property it would be appraised alongside with the home - typically not taking full credit for rental income but more of additional square feet/space to the property. 

We both have some home repair skills, but would likely need to hire out larger work such as electrical, plumbing, roofing, siding, etc.Thanks for the help!

Currently we are dealing in single family homes and non-commercial multi-family but have future growth visions on mid-sized commercial multi-family as well as STR's.Outside of real estate, I enjoy God - Family - Fishing and Friends.Excited to learn and connect with you all!

With that being said anytime I was not doing class work and studying I was taking the time and reading about all things real estate and this past Saturday I learned about wholesales and was very interested so when I got home Sunday I spent the entire day learning about all things wholesale and was actually very confident in my ability to do this.

I've been living with my parents and I am planning on getting an FHA Loan to purchase my first home.

We have regular get together with this small group of peeps and I always come home with more knowledge everytime.

Other than our home, we have no debt. 

I am a licensed Home Inspector for the state of AZ and I’m looking forward to learning about real estate investing opportunities not only in AZ but all over the United States.
