It's very evident from other cities that people absolutely will build units with out (proper) parking if allowed to do so and the burden then falls to the public.Duplexes tend to do very well in Austin and I've enjoyed working with them in the past (I ran a fund that acquired and remodeled duplexes and four-plexes across the city).

enjoy NET 300 a month about .. in 10 years you have no debt and 30k a month net.. whats not to like.of course you have a full time job collecting said rent and maintaining the homes but your getting well compensated.. depreciation wont be much since the assets are so cheap but who cares. right ?

I have never been handy but I have always enjoyed the other stuff - drawing up leases, collecting rent, hiring contractors, managing data/income (we use Stessa).
