I’ve been learning about the industry / different regional markets for the past few years and am eager to execute my first deal in the near term and continue growing through this community.My primary goal is to purchase a property I can live in while generating rental income (e.g., a single-family home with a tiny house, a duplex, or a single-family property where I can install a tiny house).

This question kind of misses the mark.

Let me summarize this for you again, I am not seeking a legal advice, I need hand holding to confirm I am reading the semantics of the deal properly !

I think the only state that has this carve out.So this is a very sophisticated scam..

This is a scenario where you want an expert in your corner.  

Instead of worrying about taxes at this early stage, it may be more productive focusing on finding the right deal, the right funding and the right contractors.

Therefore, while I acknowledge the necessity of investing in a relationship, I want to gather as much information as possible and make the most informed decision possible.
