New to Austin & Looking to Make My First Real Estate Investment

Hi All,

I'm an investment professional at an alternative investment firm (non-RE related) who recently moved to Austin, TX, and I’m excited to make my first real estate investment. I’ve been learning about the industry / different regional markets for the past few years and am eager to execute my first deal in the near term and continue growing through this community.

My primary goal is to purchase a property I can live in while generating rental income (e.g., a single-family home with a tiny house, a duplex, or a single-family property where I can install a tiny house). That said, I’m also open to other investment opportunities (especially those within a reasonable driving distance of Austin).

I’d love to connect with anyone who has strong knowledge of the Austin / regional market or experience with similar investment strategies, so feel free to reach out. I’m happy to connect on share more information / connect on LinkedIn and look forward to learning from you!
