Do you have a support system?

My research supports raising rents.purchase price $105,000down 15%owner/occupied 30 year conventional about 4% interest.Mortgage only should be about $430, I don't have exacts on tax or PMI.I'll raise rent to $650 on the 3 bed side and live in the 1 bedroom for now.

Feds are going to raise rates because the economy can support it and the markets that are doing the worst are the ones that don't have good job growth.  

Meaning that if you need to find support from others as to why you are justified in your actions or have some conflict with your decision, you may need to check your premise.That may be a little deep, but it always steers me toward the right answer.  

I'm unsure of where all the people will be coming from to support (and live in) such an increase in development.

While I ardently support and respect @Ken Rishes and do agree with him about newer homes over purchasing old PRE HUD or even circa late '70's to early '90' HUD MH's.

Control everything you are responsible for until you can support somebody else.  

my neighborhood doesn't support granite...again going for durable and cost effective.Paneling - the living room has paneling and i was thinking about just painting over it and not risking pulling it down and opening the pandora's box that MAY lie beneath.  

I would usually go with higher end finishes to either match the competition or stand out from it, but if you are in an area where the higher price point won't be supported then you don't do it.

I started buying more wholesale(rehab) properties and my husband supported the fam.
